Online Education Webinar: Supervisory Excellence - New Supervisor Onboarding Program

Description

This workshop will introduce Los Angeles County's Child Support Department's new onboarding program for new supervisors. The program is designed to support them as they journey into their leadership roles. The 6-month program aims to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to effectively lead their teams, by helping them to build confidence, strengthen communication, and foster a network of peer support among new supervisors.

By the end of the session, attendees will:

• Gain a behind-the-scenes look at how we built our six-month supervisor onboarding program—what worked, what surprised us, and what our new supervisors valued most. 
• Learn how to adapt the absorb–apply–impact approach
• Partner effectively with SMEs
