Icebreakers are a crucial and engaging tool in the workplace that can directly foster relationships, boost retention, build upon professional habits, and introduce new knowledge. In this class, we will explore the importance of icebreakers and how they can foster a positive, inclusive work environment. Class Participants will learn how to DELIVER, PERFORM, and DEBRIEF icebreakers effectively to maximize their impact in in-person, virtual, hybrid, small-group, and large-group settings. Participants will experience and practice icebreakers adaptable for team meetings, training sessions, all-staff events, and virtual environments (e.g., chat-based prompts, polls, breakout rooms, and collaborative tools).
